Account Balance for Semester 1 2008 + a few notes

Hey ppl,pls click on the image for a clear view of pm14 cash book account for this 6 months.

1. Our balance as at 30 of June 2008 is RM 119.40. I have collected a total of RM 601.60 including class funds, birthday fund, chem and bio lab manual etc. The total expenditure is RM 482.2. Therefore, the balance is RM 119.40.

2. Due to inflation, rising petrol price..even economic rice is getting more expensive, we should really use the money wisely. Even 1 cent means alot. Is there any photostating shop that offers 5cents and below per photostated paper? Should really find alternatives other that Mac centre and J&J. =) Oh ya, and we should try to make use of our 300 free pages(RM30) in the web if our new lecturers put on some notes in BB7. Some we can print out and photostat for the whole class, sometimes we need to print ourselves or we can share out the printing quota..there are a few ways to minimise expenditure at the same time getting what we want though. =)

3. I would like to cancel the birthday fund although it's already optional, just thought that it would be weird to include it into the account. So, next time we will buy prezzie on our own and share out among ourselves okie? And the class fund is only for photostating materials and our notes, alright? Okie?

4. There are 2 ppl that have not pay RM 7.20 for the chem lab manual and RM 10 for the second class fund respectively, so i will collect fr both of you when college reopens yea. =)

5. For the genting trip, in average each person spent about RM150. I think it's reasonable and kinda look forward for the next trip! But before that we must work hard for our exams because we paid even MORE.

6. College is going to reopen on Tuesday! Miss you guys a lot and hope to see all of you very very soon!!!! =) I will bring 18packs of maggie on that day!!!! And let's hope for the BEST for our new lecturers!!!

7. Congrates to Kazia that is shifting to a new house soon! Say forever bye bye to yr current stuffy room. =)

8. Have to nag abit, but yea..DRINK MORE WATER. The weather is really really weird here, afternoon hot like mad and then suddenly thunderstorm in the evening. Take care ppl. See u guys soon.

Best wishes,
chaiyee

What's next?

Hey ppl, the results are out and I did badly. To those who are satisfied with their results, congratulations n keep it up!! And for those who unfortunately didnt do well, we wouldnt die yet, we still have chance and there's still hope! The world is not ending, so strive harder for our trials! *i feel like shouting my lungs out*

Actually i wanted to write on our plan on sun/mon...can i just briefly discuss it here?
2 choices :

1. continue with our plan, which is 'A day in sunway pyramid' on Mon/Sun, since we didnt skate nor bowl last week,i think this is a good idea for another pm14 gathering. (we can have movie as well)

2. cancel everything and it's time to plan a scheduale and start studying.

And there's currently a whole mountain of maggie cups in my house thanks to jonathan that bought for us during the genting trip, so can we make it a 'Maggie day' when college reopens? I will just bring to college and maybe we can have maggie as lunch..or snacks...or perhaprs a 'maggie fight' to release our tension....

Learning is a process, to fail, to fall, to rise up and to TRY AGAIN. Right now i feel so sour inside, i feel so stupid and start comparing with others, i nearly fainted when i told my parents my result, I FEAR. But in the end, the only person that can help me is MYSELF. To continue falling? Or to bear the pain and GET UP? The final decision falls on us. Fortunately, i'm sure pm14 is ready to help each other right? Gambateh!!!!! Support support so that we wont fall!!!!! *positive positive* Compare with ourselves, if u fail, then work for an E, then D, C, B and eventually A, we are the one that know our own positions, i see no problem if u can get a C if last time u got an E, that shows improvement right? I know we are from March intake and we are already in a disadvantage according to our dearest teachers, we are short of time.

You will never find time for anything. If you want time, you must make it. -Charles Buxton- I realise that laziness is killing me. I plan alot of things but i dont take action..so please..scold me or anything to remind me to study hard and do my work!!! We must encourage each other to work harder yea....that's what make a class, truly a class.

So, can anyone make a voting box like the previous post to see whether our plan on sunday is still on anot? or any other suggestions?

Take care, that's all for now.

p/s: the weather is getting really weird, drink more water and eat more vege and fruits!!!!!!!!

TKS last paper tmrw!

Friends come and go in our lives ... Until the moment where they are about to leave us, it is only then we realise how much they mean to us ... Like Mr. Murali quoted "friends are like clouds passing by in our lives, with or without them we still need to move on with our lives".
It's true .. But will there be anymore meaning in our lives if we had no friends? Friends are like our siblings that God couldn't give us, so He made them our friends.

Although its about only 3 months we PM14 got together, it's like we're a big family... It's a weird family tree though ... Few mothers; Farrah, Brenda(she can be mother & daughter at the same time), KaiZia .. Vicky as our "responsible" father ... So many concubines la tis guy ... LOL
I really love tis family that i got into .. =)

Now, something to cheer u guys up from all the departions ...
If Karamjeet is watching tis - Tis is what happens when everyone is stressed up about maths!

Good Chicky Dance!!

HaAaiiiZzzZZZ..........

Mr Murali, aka LiLi, our beloved chemistry lecturer is going to leave us !!! I remember the first day he came into our class, telling us what he expects from us and what should and should not be done in his class.. The thing I remember most is complacency. He said no complacency is allowed in his class. Yea....frankly speaking, I felt quite stressed out after listening to him, I even regretted coming in for March intake. However, things changed after the second lesson. His way of teaching....Argh.....is the best I have ever come across. Although he expects us to prepare before class, most of the time I went unprepared, and surprisingly, I can understand ! I think the same goes to most of you too. To us, he is not only a lecturer who teaches us chemistry, but also one who guides us using chemistry concepts in life. He motivated us (if you're not,at least I am) a lot...a lot.... Whenever he asked something and I didn't know the answer, one thing that flipped in my mind was "gosh...gonna study after this".. Haiz....I doubt if other lecturers have ever given me such thought... I don't even feel guilty for owing chapters of maths homework. Haha...

Right after the bad news, another news stroke us. Miss Su is leaving too ! In fact, we should feel happy for her as she will be going UK to persue her postgrad studies. But.....Haiz..... I felt damn bad ! 'cause after knowing LiLi will be leaving, we asked why not other lecturer leaves but LiLi... And at the end of the class, she told us she will be leaving ! And she sounded so calm...liked nothing has just happened.. Haiz......... Then sobbings went on..... (from Joanne) ^_^

I heard some saying :"If Karamjeet leaves, we'll clap." and God knows, the next news that stroke us was Karamjeet's leaving !!! What the..... Nic, who was the one cheering us up at first, seemed to feel sad. Maybe some of you might think Mr Karamjeet is unfriendly and sarcastic, but one thing which is undeniable is that he is a good, knowledgable lecturer. It's just that his way of teaching is different from others. Like what LiLi said, both of them are educators, not teachers.

Okay...now 3 lecturers have left us, what's next then ? I have no idea.... just pray hard that we will get good lecturers for the next semester. It's a harsh week for PM14.... Exam's on, many fall sick, being dumped by lecturers............... HaIZ................................................................................... The only thing that will cheer all up is exam's going to end tomorrow !!! And we'll be going Genting this Saturday !!! Yeepee !!!

"Mo Xin" -- Kaizia

p/s : Nell, Vicky, Ethan and Ben, hope you guys will change your mind. Think twice, think thrice !!!
